Here at Country Baskets, we're so excited to have received all of the entries for our summer crafting competition, Accessorize Yourself!  As you might already know, we’ve challenged 19 top UK bloggers to produce a bespoke wedding-themed accessory to help us celebrate the season for all things nuptial!

The winner will be chosen by Country Baskets craft experts this week, so have a look at our entries and see which one you think deserves to win £250 Country Baskets vouchers to be used online or in store.  The first entry we received was from the lovely Laura from the Made Peachy blog, who loves to make things and add that homemade touch to everyday life. Laura has created two beautiful floral and lace jar place settings with our selection of items, and has recorded her step-to-step guide of how to make it for her readers.

Louise, the creator of Tiaras and Prozac, a down-to-earth parenting and mental health blog made a really impressive summery flower girl dress from scratch - putting the items from the Accessorize Yourself hamper to good use! You can see the finished product from the artistic mummy blogger here.Author of Bits and Bobs Craft, Bev, who blogs about crafting – especially knitting and crocheting, has used the creativity she was blessed with, and created an elaborate fascinator perfect for those sunny summer weddings.

Another entry came from Kelly, the creator of A Place of my Own blog who made a really pretty and versatile corsage suitable for all age ranges – we love the little butterfly nestled in between the flowers!  Another entry came from The Enchanted Pixie, a home-schooling crafty mama, who created a family-friendly festive wreath. In her blog, Polly provides a helpful list of top tips to help you create one for your home too.

Number six on our list is Carolee Crafts, who has a passion for designing and making handmade gifts. Carolee has gone down a different route and created a stunning dainty clutch bag. We agree that the bag is suitable for any summer’s bride – see how to make one here.

Last but not least, Laura from Extreme Housewife took a different approach to the task and made two different items! The first (her real entry) is a beautiful clutch bag complete with lace trim and floral fabric interior, and the second is a fascinator which Laura designed for a day at the races, but can equally be used for a summer wedding.

Look out for our next blog post, to have a sneaky peek at the rest of our gorgeous entries to the Accessorize Yourself challenge. Good luck to all of our entrants so far, and many thanks for finding the time to take part!
