Country Baskets have been looking forward to emerging wedding trends, coming in 2019. Although we will continue to see the traditional timeless looks from previous years...expect to see something a little different too.
Royal weddings, Colour of the Year announcements and the environment have all contributed to trends expected to feature throughout next year’s events. Meaning couples will consider more than just colour when commiting to a theme for their big day. Weddings are becoming more personalised and are usually a great insight to the couples personalities and sense of fun.
2019 will see many changes in wedding trends, but most of all, it will encourage couples to be unique and be themselves.
Theme
Colour will feature more heavily than in previous years, think deep shades like burgundy and navy for a striking and moody look to your day, or you could mix several shades from the same palette to create a fresh and on trend feel to your styling.
To lighten and complement these deeper colours, neutral tones are blended throughout, inspiring a romantic feel. We’re seeing dramatic floral arrangements and flares of aged metallics to give that deep edgy look. Velvet is featured heavily in this trend, some brides opt for just a delicate dose of this fabric tied around their bouquet, others prefer to be less subtle and choose to use it as a table runner. The beautiful dark tones are ideal for autumn and winter weddings.
